Hey Jan, I noticed, that somehow mod_uploadprogress is not working right. The example on lighttpd.net worked for me some weeks ago but when I test it now, it somehow wont upload anything. Haven't had the chance to sniff traffic etc in order to investigate the issue. Anyway, I quickly tested it with firefox and safari under OSX. Sometimes there simply is no progressbar shown and recently, there even is no upload going on.

Using server.indexfiles with conditionals broke when upgrading from 1811 to 1857.

I believe that the developers have confidence that the code will work and can be used in some live environments. I only hope that the release will be soon but lets not push the devs too much ;)

Looking on comments makes me think that this release is still buggy

1.5.0-r1857 doesn't compile on FreeBSD 6.2 for me (things like '/usr/include/sys/event.h:57: error: syntax error before "u_short"' when compiling network_gthread_aio.c. Should I be using any particular configure flags?

So is mod_uploadprogress not working in this release or is it just the demo on the site?
